House Hunting at World's End

My suburban sprawl reminded her of circuit boards,

and we agreed that; given the apocalypse,

we would love to rummage together

in the neighbor’s castles.

She wanted to be alone with the information.

Thoughts of pilfering bedside tables

for snapshots of ballheroes stuffed inside dogeared bibles
