The air is cold and the wind is worse, and spring feels as though it will never come, but there is so much in the spring semester to look forward to. First, Illumination is back and revamping. After a long discussion about who we are and what we stand for, we have come to the conclusion that Illumination is not just about art and literature. Illumination is about community.

This semester, we are not just going to focus on the amazing and talented undergraduate students that have graced our pages (both digitally and literally), but also on the artists, authors, poets, and visionaries that walk the streets of this city.

With this, you will see a change in our content online. While we will still publish our own students’ work, we also want to invite you to join us as we attend guest lectures, plays, exhibitions, and everything else this city has to offer.

So, yes, it may be cold, and spring may feel like it will never arrive, but we hope the following will suffice as proper distraction until you can genuinely see the light of day.
